What do we do?

Community involvement is a core value of Santa Barbara Women’s Self Defense (SBWSD). Through outreach to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Ventura, Santa Barbara and Carpinteria SBWSD provides workshops to help elevate self esteem through self defense to teenagers and young adults in our community. To further reach into the broader community SBWSD regularly provides on campus self defense consultancy services to the U.C. Santa Barbara sororities, dorms and student organizations.
